Today we watched the movie "ROOTS" and focused on the life of the slaves at the auction block.
After the movie you were all to read the story of Solomon Northup, and his account of the slave auction block.
In the second class we watched powerpoint presentations about "JIM CROW IN THE SOUTH" & "TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD".
HOMEWORK:
1.Finish reading the story of Solomon Northup(if you did not finish in class)
2. Please start reading CHAPTER 1 of "TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD"(Read by next class)
3. Start shopping if you can for the A4 size clear pouch file for your English class(Needed by next Tuesday please)
